This panel will explore successful methods for teaching broadcast news in 2012 and beyond. Ozarks News Journal is a multi-award winning program that includes a TV newscast (aired throughout the state of Missouri), website, phone application and production training program. Panelists will discuss techniques for in-class convergence and for preparing students for a world of journalism that demands a multitude of skills. Panelists will also discuss how to structure such a program with limited budget and resources.
