This panel will explore the TV genre - situation comedy - from a variety of perspectives. Included is comprehensive history of all situation comedies from the beginning of network radio up to the current day, including broadcast and cable TV. The panel will also include the a discussion of the history of a current sitcom project by its creator/producer; a look at the history of sitcom writing; and how sitcoms have impacted viewers' childhoods.
